The Site Analysis & Design Response has helped us develop a comprehensive understanding of the context for Project 1B and 1C. Within our assigned tutorial groups, we carried out site visits to observe, record, and collect data on both the physical and social aspects of the site. Our methods of data collection included sketches, diagrams, photography, videography, audio recordings, interviews, and secondary information sourced from relevant local authorities. We identified both the tangible elements and the intangible qualities that shape the site’s overall character. Through engagement with site users, we were able to gain insights into the needs of the local community. Based on these findings, we developed initial design responses to inform the direction of Project 1B and 1C.
