The project involved designing a Creative and Recreational Hub within Taman Wawasan Recreational Park. We were required to develop a comprehensive design proposal that incorporated insights gathered from our site analysis and precedent studies. Through this process, we generated narratives that responded to both the environmental context and the needs of the surrounding community. Our design explored the environmental poetics of building enclosures while aiming to minimize environmental impact. We applied various complex spatial typologies and integrated a range of passive design strategies to support sustainability. The final proposal aimed to harmonize with the existing environment and site conditions, while offering meaningful spatial experiences that foster a strong sense of community.
