In a group of five, I selected two case studies (3–5 storeys)—one from a tropical climate and one from another climate region (Arid, Mediterranean, Temperate Continental, or Polar)—to critically evaluate and compare the application of passive sustainable design strategies. I analysed site planning, daylighting, façade design, natural ventilation, and strategic landscaping, examining their relationship to climate and culture as well as their impact on spatial quality and user experience. Through this project, I developed the ability to explain passive sustainable design, related green technologies, and applicable strategies, while assessing their effectiveness in different contexts. The final deliverables included an A0 infographic poster, an A4 landscape booklet (20–25 pages with text, diagrams, sketches, drawings, and images), and a 5-minute pre-recorded presentation focusing on the poster.
